In the afternoon of June 6, 2024,
the Chinese Institute of Engineers held the
“2024 Joint Annual Meeting of the Chinese Institute of Engineers and Various Professional Engineering Societies
and the Engineering Day Celebration Conference” in Taipei.
Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim and Minister of Transportation Li Meng-yen attended the event to offer
their congratulations and encouragement.
The conference was presided over by Yang Zhenghong,
President of the Chinese Institute of Engineers.
Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim presented the Fellow Certificates and the highest honor,
the “Engineering Medal,” with the recipient of the Engineering Medal being Song Yu-Chi,
Distinguished Professor of Civil Engineering at National Taipei University of Technology.
