In the afternoon of June 6, 2024,

the Chinese Institute of Engineers held the 

“2024 Joint Annual Meeting of the Chinese Institute of Engineers and Various Professional Engineering Societies 

and the Engineering Day Celebration Conference” in Taipei.

Song Yu-Chi, Executive Director of RCOWPE, 

led his team in receiving the Engineering Paper Award from the Chinese Institute of Engineers.

The paper titled “AI-based System for Quick Seismic Estimation of Building Structures

for Urban Disaster Prevention in Taiwan,” co-authored

by Wei Jin-biao, Song Yu-Chi, Qiu Zhong-min, Li Jia-xuan, Guo Sheng-wei, Chen Zhi-yuan, Liu Xiao-qin, Ke Xiao-xun, and Xu Zhi-hao,

was selected for the 2024 Engineering Paper Award after evaluation by the institute.
